Life provides compassionate, personalized support to individuals with developmental disabilities in Arizona through seven key service types: homemaking, attendant care, respite, and habilitation, as well as occupational, physical, and speech therapy.

Homemaking

Homemaking services assist individuals with essential daily household tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, cleaning, and organization, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and functional living environment.

Attendant Care

Attendant care services focus on personal care needs, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, medication reminders, mobility support, and other daily living activities, promoting independence while maintaining health and safety.

Respite

Respite services offer temporary relief for family caregivers, giving them time to rest, manage other responsibilities, or attend to personal needs. This service ensures families can sustain long-term care while individuals continue to receive attentive, professional support.

Habilitation

Habilitation services emphasize skill-building and personal development tailored to each individual’s goals. This includes developing life skills such as cooking, budgeting, time management, social communication, self-advocacy, problem-solving, and community participation.

Occupational therapy

Occupational therapy helps individuals develop the skills needed for daily living, self-care, and independent participation in home and community life.

Physical therapy

Physical therapy focuses on improving strength, mobility, balance, and overall physical function to enhance safety, independence, and quality of life.

Speech therapy

Speech therapy supports communication, language, speech, and swallowing skills, helping individuals express themselves and engage more fully with others.
